The Japanese have had a long history of craving endangered species for food, pets, and for their traditional "medicine". The more endangered it is, the more they crave it. There is no excuse for their behavior and it should not be tolerated in the international community. Just as slavery and the bounty hunting of the native peoples of the world is no longer acceptable, the hunting of whales and primates should be relegated to the dustbin of history.

Like the Sea Shepherd video says, the laws are all in place, it is just that no government wishes to enforce them. The courageous men and women of the Sea Shepherd organization are the only ones actively trying to halt this internationally illegal activity and they deserve any kind of support you can give them.
