June is springtime in Iceland. Fields are full of lupines, a much larger variety than I've seen in California. Dandelions are embraced as a sunny, cheery flower and not a weed. They are really quite lovely when allowed to grow. Some of the flowers and plants in this gallery are edible. Double-click on the image to see the photos at their proper size.
