Last fall, my landscaper lined my driveway with 500 daffodil bulbs. Her crew did such a good job replacing the dirt and grass that I was surprised when the bulbs sprouted. I had not idea how expensive the planting was. I was even more surprised when they all bloomed at around the same time. It was beautiful. Alas, the blooming season is over and I'll have to wait a year for another spectacular display. I posed a few for an image that will help keep the memory alive until next spring.
