The Changing Nature of Weather

Not too long ago I wrote about a hike in the snow I took at Lake Crescent in Olympic National Park. Just 45 minutes prior to the hike, I disembarked from a small boat anchored at Port Angeles. The weather was sunny with some puffy clouds in the otherwise blue sky. I never expected the weather to turn from this to the snow I hiked in that day.
