Wave is word of the day for my 365-day photograph project. I have photos of lots of waves, but only one green one. This was taken in Oman. The green is caused by an algae bloom. At night, when the waves crash, the algae phosphorese. What I find interesting is that the gull has its back to the wave. I was always warned not to turn my back to the ocean, lest I get hit with a wave. I suppose if I had wings it wouldn't matter.
